(Video Tutorial) How To Find Profitable Clickbank Products To Promote On Bing Ads
Today I’m doing a short tutorial on how to find products on clickbank to promote with Bing Ads.
If you’re just getting started in affiliate marketing, this can be one of the easiest ways to get up and running and start making some sales and optimizing your campaigns.
If you’re advanced, you might just learn a little more about the metrics that clickbank uses to rate which products are hottest and which ones can make you a profit the fastest.
When you first login to the dashboard it can be a bit overwhelming…there are thousands of products listed in hundreds of different niches, and it’s hard to make sense of which ones are worth promoting, which ones will waste your money, and which ones are secret goldmines.
What’s the #1 important metric? Gravity.
Here’s what clickbank has to say about their Gravity metric:
ClickBank uses a measure called ‘gravity’ to represent how well each product sells, based on how many sales have been made and how recent these sales were.
A very high gravity (i.e. 100+) will generally indicate that there is a lot of competition in this niche. Don’t let that put you off. Competition is good because it means there’s lots of demand for products in that niche. It also means that there are potentially a lot of people with lists who you could form partnerships or JV’s (Joint Ventures) with.
I should point out that sometimes a low gravity product can still be worth promoting – it might simply be new, or an undiscovered gem. So while gravity is a helpful indication of selling potential, you shouldn’t reject an otherwise high-quality product solely because of its low gravity score.
Like they said, gravity can be a difficult metric to understand, it’s a bit confusing.
Most newbies assume they should just start at the top of gravity…but there is really high competition.
Others assume that if something has a “low” gravity, that it means there’s only a few affiliates making money. But actually, even if 10 affiliates made a sale in the last 12 weeks (the basic definition of what gravity means)…
That COULD mean that one or two of those affiliates actually made tens, dozens, or hundreds of sales!
What’s the best way to get traffic to your clickbank offer once you’ve chosen one?
For my money, Bing Ads is hands down the best place for newbie affiliate marketers to get started sending traffic to clickbank offers.
- It’s cheap (relative to google adwords, facebook ads, or native ad platforms like taboola or outbrain)
- It’s FAST (you can get an ad approved in as little as an hour
- You can start with a $50 free credit if you sign up for a hostgator account through this link.
- You can also start getting REAL, QUALIFIED traffic to your website with as little as $5/day
- It’s relatively easy to get landing pages approved
- It’s PERFECT for the types of products typically found on clickbank – information products that solve a problem that people search for
