Bluehost Tutorial – How To Upgrade Your PHP Version in Cpanel

- Faster WordPress site, which will lead to higher search rankings in SEO
- Retain Visitors longer

All of those sound nifty…plus, I don’t like having a warning message every time I log into wordpress, so I decided to upgrade.

Step 1: Open Your Cpanel
The first step is to open up your Cpanel in your Bluehost account.
Step 2: Find & Open Programming > “PHP Config”
Next, you want to scroll down to the “Programming” section and find the “PHP Config” Button.
Step 3: Choose The Version of PHP You Want To Upgrade To
This should be the final step, simply choose one of the PHP version options from the menu and upgrade your entire account.
Make sure to read all of the warnings about upgrading before you do.
Step 4: Click “Save Changes” – and You’re Finished!
Congrats, you’ve upgraded your PHP version.
